House official. As the seventh president of the National Trust, Moe is
responsible for leading the organization toward its mission to protect the
irreplaceable by revitalizing communities and saving historic places.
Moe's recent book, Changing Places: Rebuilding Community in the Age of
Sprawl, documents the negative impact of urban public policies during
the late 20th century and offers remedies that enhance the quality of life
and make economic sense. Moe serves on the boards of the Civil War Trust
