George L. Kelling
Kelling is a professor in the
School of Criminal Justice at Rutgers University and a research fellow in
the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Kelling, who has
been a visiting fellow at the National Institute of Justice, is
researching the private policing of public spaces, organizational change
in policing and the impact of prosecutorial strategies on community
policing. He co-authored Fixing Broken Windows: Restoring Order and
Reducing Crime in Our Communities with Catherine Coles.
