Through depictions of scenes from various locations in Ohio, the artist uses acrylic paint applied to hand made paper in an attempt to convey a sense of legend and majesty of our land much the way Monet, Picasso, Renoir and Van Gogh did for France. The tactile sensation of foliage, light, air and water are articulated through multiple layers of pigment built up on this heavily textured paper from the Philippines.
