I am pleased to extend a warm welcome to everyone in attendance for the Governor's Awards for the Arts in Ohio. I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful program.
I would also like to extend my sincere congratulations to the recipients of this year's Governor's Awards for the Arts in Ohio for their artistic excellence. I commend them for their efforts that help foster the rich cultural and artistic environment that exists in our great state. I am proud to honor the remarkable achievements of these individuals and organizations as they enrich our communities and lives at a time when it is needed most. Their extraordinary talents and generous contributions allow the arts to play an integral role in the lives of every Ohioan.
