About Arts Day

Each year Arts Day is held in conjunction with the Governor's Awards for the Arts in Ohio. This annual advocacy opportunity brings together citizens to share a united message about the value of the arts in our state to members of the Ohio Legislature.

Arts Day includes an Advocacy Briefing, legislative visits to each member of the Ohio House and Senate, student performances, an arts tradeshow, and networking among Ohio's arts advocates.

Arts Day serves as an event rich in education, information and communication. Business, arts, and civic leaders join with students, parents, and artists to advocate on behalf of the arts to secure public funding through the state budget process.
