A Message from Governor John Kasich
Greetings,
It is my honor to welcome everyone to the 2013 Governor’s Awards for the Arts in Ohio and Arts Day Luncheon. This program recognizes those who are committed to enhancing the creative and cultural life of our state, and I am proud to commend their efforts in doing so.
The great talents and generous contributions of today’s award recipients, and all those who were nominated, help contribute to the rich cultural diversity and economic vitality of our state, prepare our students with the creative skills they need for the 21st century workforce, and help make Ohio a great place to live, work and visit.
I am proud to extend my sincere congratulations to each and every recipient of the Governor’s Awards for the Arts in Ohio. The remarkable achievements of these individuals and organizations enliven our communities and enrich the lives of countless Ohioans.
