OAC Announces Spring Board Meeting

Columbus, OH--Members of the Ohio Arts Council (OAC) board will meet Wednesday, April 15, at the OAC office on the 33rd floor of the Rhodes State Office Tower, located at 30 E. Broad St. in downtown Columbus. Committee meetings will take place Wednesday morning starting at 10 a.m., with the full board meeting beginning at 11 a.m. All meetings are open to the public.

The OAC provides a live audio stream of the board and committee meetings. Listeners will hear the board's discussion via their computer speakers. Instructions and a meeting agenda are available here.

The following two committees will meet on April 15: Finance and Programs, Panels, and Public Policy. During the full board meeting at 11 a.m., the OAC board will discuss and vote on the following: (1) grant ratifications made since the board meeting on January 21, 2015; (2) grant recommendations for the FY 2015 Individual Excellence Awards; and (3) objectives related to the agency's 2015-2017 strategic plan.

The OAC board also will hear updates from its board chair; executive director; finance committee chair; programs, panels, and public policy committee chair; and Ohio Citizens for the Arts.
