Ohio Arts Council Board Meets to Plan for Executive Search--UPDATE

UPDATE - A special meeting of the board of the Ohio Arts Council will take place on Thursday, February 13, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This meeting is part of the process in the executive search to select the next executive director of the council. Current executive director Julie S. Henahan is retiring in July 2014. At 10:30 a.m. the board will go into executive session to review applications and discuss the appointment, employment and compensation of the next executive director.

The OAC board's Programs, Panels and Public Policy committee will meet following this meeting. This committee meeting will begin at 2:10 and run until 3:30 p.m. During this meeting the committee will review and discuss the tools and feedback methods that were used during the Information Gathering Phase of the last agency strategic planning process and discuss ideas for the next strategic plan. These meetings are open to the public and will be held on the 19th floor, room 1932 of the Riffe Center for Government and the Arts, 77 S. High Street, Columbus, Ohio.

The OAC will provide a live audio stream for the open portion of the special meeting from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. and for the entirety of the Programs, Panels and Public Policy committee beginning at 2:10 p.m. Listeners will be able to hear the board's discussion via their computer speakers.
