Ohio Arts Council Announces January Board Meeting Schedule Change

Please note that an Ohio Arts Council (OAC) board meeting that was scheduled to take place Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. has been canceled. However, members of the OAC board will meet January 10 as planned at the OAC office on the 33rd floor of the Rhodes State Office Tower, located at 30 E. Broad St. in Columbus. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and adjourn at 4:30 p.m. It is open to the public.

The board will engage in a variety of policy and informational sessions, including a presentation from Kelly Barsdate, chief program and planning officer of the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, Washington, D.C. The board will discuss a variety of topics including: the history of OAC support for major institutions, OAC grant programs and awards, and the current streamlining effort for grant applications.
