Ohio Arts Council Announces October Board Meeting

Members of the Ohio Arts Council (OAC) board will meet Thursday, October 13 in Rooms South B and C on the 31st floor of the Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts, located at 77 South High Street in Columbus. Committee meetings will take place Thursday morning, with the full board meeting being held in the afternoon from 12:15 to 5 p.m. All meetings are open to the public.

The following committees will meet on October 13: Governor's Awards Selection, 9:00 a.m.; Panel Selection, 9:45 a.m.; Policy and Planning, 10:15 a.m.; Executive, 10:45 a.m.

During the full board meeting at 12:15 p.m., the OAC board will approve panelist appointments for the upcoming grant review panels and will ratify grants for Special Organizations and Artists with Disabilities Access. There will be updates from Bill Blair, legislative counsel for Ohio Citizens for the Arts (OCA) and Donna Collins, executive director of OCA.
