For the first time ever, the OAC will broadcast online the public portions of panel meetings, allowing anyone who cannot attend the meeting in person to listen from their homes or offices. Participants can listen via their computer. The OAC is hopeful this option will afford more applicants the opportunity to participate in the panel meeting process. Since 1965, the OAC has provided more than $270 million in grants to artists, arts organizations and educational programs across Ohio. Organizations that receive OAC funds are required to match state tax dollars with public and private funds. In general, for every state tax dollar invested, recipient organizations raise $84 in matching funds to support arts programs.
