Ohio Arts Council Announces March Board Meeting

Members of the Ohio Arts Council (OAC) board will meet March 7 and 8 in Room 108 at the Ohio Statehouse, 1 Capitol Square, Columbus. Committee meetings will take place Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. The full board meeting will be held Tuesday from 12:15 to 3:15 p.m. All meetings are open to the public.

The following committees will meet on Monday, March 7 from 2:30 to 4:15 p.m.: Finance and Policy & Planning. The following committees will meet Tuesday, March 8 from 9 to 11:45 a.m.: Nominating; Education; Legislative; and Executive.

During the full board meeting on March 8 at 12:15 p.m., the OAC board will approve grant recommendations for Individual Excellence Awards. The board also will ratify grants for Special Projects, Artists with Disabilities Access and Capacity Building programs. There will be updates from Bill Blair, legislative counsel for Ohio Citizens for the Arts (OCA), and Donna Collins, executive director of OCA, as well as a presentation from David Fraher, executive director of Arts Midwest, Ohio’s regional arts organization.
