Ohio Arts Council Announces September Board Meeting

Members of the Ohio Arts Council (OAC) Board will meet Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Ohio Arts Council’s office, 727 E. Main Street, Columbus. The business meeting will be held from 1:45 – 4 p.m. and is open to the public.

The OAC Board will ratify grants for FY2009 and FY2010 and will discuss research regarding ideas for potential reorganization of the OAC. There will be updates from Bill Blair, legislative counsel for Ohio Citizens for the Arts (OCA) and Donna Collins, executive director of OCA, as well as a presentation from Arts Midwest, Ohio’s regional arts organization.

The Ohio Arts Council is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally and economically.
