Members of the Ohio Arts Council (OAC) Board will meet on Monday, August 17, 2009 at the law offices of Rich & Gillis Law Group at 300 E. Broad Street in the O’Keefe Conference Room, 1st floor, Columbus. The business meeting will be held from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and is open to the public. Because of the dramatic reduction in the OAC budget for the FY1010/2011 biennium, the OAC Board will meet in a special session to determine biennial spending plans for its core grant programs to nonprofit cultural organizations, communities, schools, and artists. The Board also will consider agency restructuring. The Ohio Arts Council is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally and economically.[top]
