Ohio Arts Council Holds Grant Information Sessions Throughout Ohio
by Jaclyn Reynolds

The Ohio Arts Council (OAC) will hold information sessions about OAC funding opportunities available to nonprofit arts organizations, schools, community centers and other organizations across the state this fall.

The OAC will provide an overview of OAC programs, services and updated 2010-2011 Guidelines; highlight program changes, introduce Focusing the Light: The Art and Practice of Planning, a new OAC publication; provide technical assistance on organizational budgets and navigating OnLine Grants Application (OLGA); and provide tips for preparing competitive applications. A representative from Ohio Citizens for the Arts will provide information about various resources available through their organization to support the arts and arts education.

All OAC applicants are strongly encouraged to attend one of these free sessions. Break out sessions will occur simultaneously. Please feel free to bring multiple staff to ensure you receive all information.

These sessions will last two hours. Please feel free to bring your own beverage and/or snack. Due to state regulations refreshments will not be provided.

For more information please call Shannon Ford at 614/728-4406 or visit www.oac.state.oh.us. To register, click on the city name where you wish to attend.
