Ohio Arts Council Announces June Board Meeting

Members of the Ohio Arts Council Board will meet Monday, June 30, 2008 at the Ohio Arts Council, 727 E. Main Street, Columbus. The business meeting will be held from 1 – 4 p.m. and is open to the public. The Council Board will review grant recommendations for Arts Access, Arts Innovation, Arts Learning: Artist in Residence Program, Arts Learning: Arts Partnership Program, Individual Creativity: Artists and Communities and Individual Creativity: Traditional Arts Apprenticeships. The Board will also review ratifications for Artists with Disabilities Access, Building Cultural Diversity Initiative, Capacity Building, International Partnership, Percent for Art and Special Projects. The Board also will receive updates from Ohio Citizens for the Arts, Ohio’s arts advocacy organization.

The Ohio Arts Council is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally and economically.
