The Ohio Arts Council will present four day-long intensive workshops for non-profit arts and cultural organization leaders this November and December. These comprehensive workshops target executive staff and board leaders of small to medium non-profit arts and cultural organizations. They are designed to provide participants with the cultural tools to strengthen their organizations’ overall effectiveness in delivering products or services to core constituencies. The workshop offers experienced arts professionals an important opportunity to refresh their knowledge of the basics while providing those new to the field a solid introduction to key elements affecting sustainability for their organizations. The Arts Management Shop Talks faculty has extensive experience working with non-profit arts and cultural organizations. Members of the Arts Management Shop Talks faculty include: Jackie Calderone, Calderone Arts; Kathleen Cerveny, Program Director, The Cleveland Foundation; Marc Folk, Executive Director, Arts Commission of Greater Toledo; Ray Hart, President/CEO, RSHart and Partners; Joanne Montagner-Hull, CPA, President, Your Bean Counters; Sandy Lesko Mounts, Sandy Lesko Communications; Howard Parr, Co-Principal, Community Partners Project; Denise Rehg, President/CEO, CultureWorks; Janet Schroeder, Executive Director, Toledo Botanical Gardens; Janus Small, Co-Principal, Community Partners Project and President, Janus Small Associates; Rhonda Sewell, Media Relations Coordinator, Toledo-Lucas County Public Library; Robin Stewart, Policy and Research Associate, Voinovich Center for Leadership and Public Affairs; Shelley Taylor, Chair, Trumbull 100 and the Ohio Arts Council’s Office of Organizational Services and Community Development staff.
