Ohio Arts Council Announces Public Meeting

Members of the Ohio Arts Council Board will meet Monday, August 21, 2006 at the Ohio Arts Council, 727 E. Main Street, Columbus. The business meeting will be held at 2 p.m. and is open to the public. The Council Board will review the committee recommendation for the new Ohio Arts Council executive director. The committee conducted a search for an executive director for the agency beginning in early April 2006 when Wayne Lawson, former OAC executive director, retired.

The Ohio Arts Council is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally and economically.
