On Saturday, November 13 the Ohio Arts Council will hold an informational meeting for individual artists. Artists interested in applying to the Ohio Arts Council for funding will be introduced to our new web-based funding application system, OLGA (OnLine Grant Applications). The technology is set to launch in early November. The OAC has scheduled these meetings at Media Bridges in Cincinnati. In addition to introducing OLGA, the OAC staff will provide training and information on how to use the system. The meeting will present potential individual users with information about how to develop an account profile, submit online draft applications, check the status of applications and much more. These meetings do not apply to organizational applicants.

The new OAC Guidelines will be presented, specifically the Artist and Communities and Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Programs. Both have a deadline of January 15, 2005.

Space is limited. A separate meeting will be held in spring 2005 for artists interested in the Individual Excellence Awards (formerly Individual Artist Fellowships). More information about this meeting will be available in 2005.

Interested individuals are encouraged to read the complete meeting information (PDF).

Please email the webmaster if you have problems with the meeting document attachments.
