Ohio Arts Council Announces September Board Meeting

Members of the Ohio Arts Council Board will meet Thursday, September 23, 2004 at the Ohio Arts Council, 727 E. Main Street, Columbus The business meeting will be held from 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and is open to the public. The Council Board will review grant recommendations for Appalachian Arts, Arts in Education Special Projects, International, Individual Artist-Professional Development, Information Resource Assistance, Minority Arts, Performing Arts on Tour, Special Opportunity Grants and Special Programs and Services. The Board also will receive updates on the Arts Learning Program and the Eitetsu Hayashi Taiko Drum Residency.

The Ohio Arts Council is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally and economically.
