Ohio Arts Council Announces June Board Meeting

Members of the Ohio Arts Council Board will meet Wednesday, June 30 at the Ohio Arts Council, 727 E. Main Street, Columbus. The business meeting will be held from 11:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. and is open to the public. The Council Board will review grant recommendations for Operating Support I, Artists Projects, Building Diverse Audiences, Literature, Arts in Education Residencies, Arts in Education Partnerships, Arts Basic to Education, YouthReach, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Community and Traditional Arts and Performing Arts on Tour. The Board also will receive updates on the Ohio Arts Council's Riffe Gallery, IMPACT (International Music and Performing Arts in Communities Tour) and the proposed 2006/2007 Guidelines.

The Ohio Arts Council is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally and economically.
