Contract Summary for Individuals
Artists and Communities Recipients
Promotional Materials
Individual artists who have received funding through the Artists and Communities
Program must give logo credit to the Council in printed materials including
newsletters, calendars, catalogs, brochures, postcard announcements, invitations,
films and videotapes, and electronic transmissions, including internet
sites, regarding all activities for which Council funds are used.
Electronic Media and Web sites
Individual artists who have received funding through the Artists and Communities
Program must use the OAC credit logo on their websites along with a hyperlink
back to the OAC website for the particular project or projects for which
funding was received. The OAC logo should only appear on that portion
of the artist's website that addresses the project specifically for the
specified OAC grant period (normally July 1, - June 30). The OAC logo
should not appear alone on the artist's website home page or in any other
part of the website that was not part of the particular OAC funded project.
The OAC credit logo should not appear on an artist's website beyond the
contractual term of the grant for any reason.
The OAC credit logo may also appear on the website of any organization
or venue that has sponsored the individual artist's public program or
has acted as host venue, for the duration of the public event.
Individual Excellence Award Recipients
Promotional Materials
Individual artists who have received funding through the Individual Excellence
Awards Program should use the following language with the logo to give
credit to the Council in printed materials including newsletters, calendars,
catalogs, brochures, postcard announcements, invitations, films and videotapes,
and electronic transmissions, including internet sites for the specified
OAC grant period.
This artist was awarded an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence
Award for (enter year).
Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Recipients
Promotional Materials
Individual artists who have received funding through the Traditional Arts
Apprenticeship Program should use the following language with the logo
to give credit to the Council in printed materials including newsletters,
calendars, catalogs, brochures, postcard announcements, invitations, films
and videotapes, and electronic transmissions, including internet sites
for the specified OAC grant period.
This Master Artist was awarded an Ohio Arts Council Traditional
Arts Apprenticeship to conduct an apprenticeship in (enter name of traditional
art form and year).
