The awards are from his pinhole camera series of photographs. “What attracted me was the simplicity of it,” said Kasperek, of his pinhole camera series. “A light-tight box, a tiny hole for a lens, and fi lm. The interesting thing about pinhole cameras is how everything from an inch or so in front of the camera, to infi nity are in focus and an extreme wide-angle view.”
