ProMusica Chamber Orchestra - Columbus - donated copies of its 10th and most recent CD, “American Originals,” for the information packets that student advocates delivered to State leaders as part of Arts Day 2006. Led by founding Music Director Timothy Russell, ProMusica presents the best of traditional chamber orchestra repertoire and is committed to the promotion and presentation of contemporary American repertoire and the development of new music. ProMusica is active in commissioning new works and has presented more than95 premieres throughout its 27-year history. The award-winning organization also regularly collaborates on artistic and community outreach programs with other central Ohio organizations. For more information, visit: www.promusicacolumbus.org.

The book, "The Quiltmaker’s Gift," was sponsored by Time Warner Cable Southwest Ohio Division in partnership with Culture Works the Arts Fund (Dayton) for each member of the Ohio Legislature as a commemorative gift, delivered by Ohio’s 2006 student advocates.
