Aspirations: Toward a Future in the Middle East

January 25 - April 8, 2001

Curated by Nella Cassouto and Robert Stearns, Aspirations will highlight work by 11 photographers from Israel and Palestinian territories. Artists have been chosen for their ability to convey a sense of self, place and community to viewers. The exhibition will reflect on the current political and cultural situation in the Middle East and provide a common ground for grasping the artists' very different messages.
