Noteworthy

Visual artist Robert Rauschenberg will receive this year's Wexner Prize. For more than five decades, Rauschenberg, 74, has boldly abandoned traditional artistic models, producing influential work in every medium while inventing hybrids along the way. His intensely experimental works explore art and life. Rauschenberg will visit the Wexner Center in May to receive the eighth Wexner Prize.

The Fitton Center for Creative Arts has developed a new arts education program in cooperation with the University of Rio Grande. The combined effort, called The Riverside Academy, will offer a master's of education degree in fine arts and multiple intelligences. Course work will be offered at the Fitton Center and on the Internet. For more information call 513/863-8873.
