I am a visual artist who likes to work with words. I have done assemblage, painting on paper, collage, artist books and altered objects. Themes have included creation/destruction myths of many cultures, vanishing languages, and spiritual traditions. I would like to do artist books with either elementary or upper school children using the mediums of collage, altered books, or drawing. Books can also be made by hand.


At present I am completing my dress of vanishing languages, a christening dress covered with pictographs, symbols, alphabets, numbers, stories in many almost extinct languages, nuclear socks, old children's socks with complete lists of names and dates of nuclear tests completed by various countries, I am also working on monoprints, collages and a new artist book.


I have a masters degree in English Literature from Case Western Reserve University. I have taken many art courses at the Cleveland Institute of Art and have been a working and nationally exhibiting artist for over twenty years. I have received three Artist Grants from the Ohio Arts Council and won awards at several art shows. I have also had several museum exhibitions.
