Ohio Artists on Tour
Over the past few years, Lisa Biales has been busy writing and singing a variety of music. She has recorded nine albums of music on her own Big Song Music record label, and her voice is heard on radio stations around the world.
Michael Jonathan of WoodSongs Old Time Radio Hour took notice of Lisa's crystal pure voice and offered her a spot on his beloved radio/TV broadcast, twice! Francis Ford Coppola enjoyed a Lisa Biales performance so much so that he called her up and asked her to be in his film, ''Twixt,'' where Biales portrays a waitress named Ruth (and *Bonus) she picks up the guitar and sings.
Lisa grew up in a musical family and started singing professionally at the age of thirteen. She has performed all around the world and is enjoying a less busy touring schedule, giving her time for watercolor, tending to her chickens, traveling with her husband, and enjoying life in the slower lane.
Biales, who is known for her clear as a bell singing voice, has been dubbed a fitting ''Belle of the Blues,'' and released an album of Acoustic Blues music of the same name that was nominated for a Blues Music Award.
Biales, who works as a solo, duo, or trio weaves a tapestry of Americana, Blues, Roots, American Standards, and original music creating her own signature sound.
''The audience absolutely loved your performance.'' - Keith Rawlings, Darke County Center for the Arts.
