The Ohio Arts Council's Riffe Gallery Presents A Century of Ohio Watercolor
In a tribute to the Ohio Arts Council's (OAC) 50th anniversary, OAC's Riffe Gallery kicks off 2015 with a milestone exhibition: A Century of Ohio Watercolor, January 29 through April 15, 2015. Produced by the Southern Ohio Museum, Portsmouth (SOM) and curated by SOM Artistic Director Charlotte Gordon, the exhibition will span the years 1915–2015 and showcase over 45 Ohio artists working in the versatile medium of watercolor. Artists include August Biehle, Emerson Burkhardt, Clarence Carter, Cody Heichel, Alice Schille, and many more.

Family Workshop with Kelley Booze

Kelley Booze, Springfield artist and Columbus College of Art &
Design Graduate, on Sunday, February 22, 2–4 p.m.
to learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting from drawing to
various application techniques. The workshop is geared toward
children 6 to 17. All children must be accompanied by a
registered adult. Space is limited; register

Writing Workshop with Lucrecia Guerrero
Award-winning author Lucrecia Guerrero will lead an adult
writing workshop on Thursday, April 2, 5:30–8:30 p.m.
that will help bring personal experiences and memories to life
using senses to recall details. Please register in advance
