  Artist Claudia Bernardi will present a tribute to victims of genocide in Central America with her exhibition Frescoes on Paper, on display at the College of Wooster Art Museum November 5 through December 15. For more information call 330/263-2145.

The Renaissance Society of the Cincinnati Art Museum will host a Renaissance ball, Florentine Gold, November 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Proceeds will benefit contemporary arts programming at the museum. NEA & OAC TOURING PROGRAMS HELP COMMUNITIES

The National Endowment for the Arts Regional Touring Program and the Ohio Arts Council9s Performing Arts on Tour Program help bring high-quality performing artists and companies to communities.

The NEA program provides assistance for interstate touring and gives priority to underserved communities to give all Americans access to excellence and diversity in the live performing arts. The NEA Regional Touring Program is featured on the NEA website www.arts.gov/touring.html

OAC NAMES NEW PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICE DIRECTOR

The Ohio Arts Council welcomes Gregg Dodd as its new director of public information. He is a graduate of the University of Toledo with a bachelor's degree in communication. Dodd worked at the University of Toledo, Wright State University in Dayton and Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. Most recently he was the special events coordinator and public relations representative for COSI Toledo. Dodd replaces Beth Fisher. Please update your mailing lists to reflect this change.
