Katherine Eckstrand has been elected president of the Ohio Arts Presenters Network. Eckstrand, a member of the OAPN board since October 1996, will serve until October 2001.

Nomination forms are available for the 2000 Governor's Awards for the Arts. The annual awards are given to Ohio individuals and organizations in recognition of outstanding contributions to the arts. Deadline for nominations is October 13. Awards are given for arts administration, arts in education, arts patron, arts outreach, business support of the arts, individual artist, and partnerships in the arts. Awards will be presented at a public ceremony March 22, 2000, at the Columbus Athenaeum.
