The Columbus Symphony Orchestra, in association with The King Arts Complex, will feature the Marcus Roberts Trio at the Ohio Theater February 26-27. The Cleveland International Film Festival, March 18-28 at Tower City Cinemas in Downtown Cleveland, will present approximately 80 features from 35 countries and more than 100 short subjects. Columbus folk artist and OAC Fellowship recipient Mary Francis Merrill has died at the age of 79. Merrill received national recognition as part of a group of self-taught Columbus artists including Elijah Pierce and William Hawkins.

The form is a self-extracting zip file for Windows and a word for Macintosh file. Organizations can fill out the application on their computer, then mail it to the OAC. Other application forms will be available within the next few months.

The National Endowment for the Arts announced the first round of its 1999 grants in the creation and presentation category at a press conference in Columbus hosted by the Ohio Arts Council on December 15.
