The largest festival of performance art in the world has named Robert Thurmer as festival director. Thurmer will continue as gallery director at Cleveland State University while he directs the operations of Cleveland Performance Art Festival. The SPECTRA+ arts education program for schools in Fairfield and Hamilton districts has been recommended to the Presidents Committee on the Arts and Humanities as an Exemplary Program, meaning it will become part of a national research project designed to explore the best practices in arts education.
