Hey Mavis makes an art out of connecting with their audience, through voice, viola, fiddle, bass and banjo. Every person has a story to tell, and every Hey Mavis performance is a colorful weaving of those stories, a seamless blending of modern elements and old-timey traditions.

According to Shirley Stary, Vice President of Programming, Lakeside Association, Lakeside, Ohio, Hey Mavis has performed at Lakeside several times, and they are certainly a crowd favorite. Their music is great, their energy is contagious and the band knows how to get the crowd going. They did a wonderful workshop with our youth, and invited them onstage to perform the new 'Lakeside' song they had written together that day a truly memorable event for the kids and audience!''
