One World Tribe

As a truly multicultural musical group, One World Tribe has worked for 20 years to model successful collaboration and artistry among a group representing diverse ethnic, racial, educational and musical traditions and disciplines. Members of this band hail from as far away as Africa and the Caribbean and as close as the east side of Cleveland; artists in this group are college educated and educators as well as masters of indigenous folkloric disciplines. Our musical interests range from traditional African dance forms to Latin rhythms to Caribbean reggae to American Hiphop and more. Through the common language of music, we have come together to represent the best of what human beings can be and do when we celebrate our differences, rather than fear them.
